What does respect mean in the community of Cordova, Alaska?
A short film touching on how respect is a part of daily life, extending to food, elders and more, regardless of ethnicity.
This film was created as a part of the “Podcasting & Digital Storytelling” workshop. Podcasting & Digital Storytelling is designed for teachers and school professionals who work with 6th – 12th grade Alaska Native and Newcomer (immigrant and refugee) students, and participating educators will receive support in engaging students in podcasting and digital storytelling as culturally responsive teaching tools.
