Champs During Covid 19
Special needs services along with schools, sports and restaurants where shut down do to Covid. This created a huge void for families with special needs. Champs is a ministry based special needs program focusing on building relationships, having fun and focusing on the positive. Welcoming all champs from ages 3 – 18+
This film was created as a part of the “Podcasting & Digital Storytelling” workshop. Podcasting & Digital Storytelling is designed for teachers and school professionals who work with 6th – 12th grade Alaska Native and Newcomer (immigrant and refugee) students, and participating educators will receive support in engaging students in podcasting and digital storytelling as culturally responsive teaching tools.
