Empowering Alaska’s youth. The Youth Engagement Program focuses on connection, new skills and healthy life habits. Several interviews with students showcase their favorite part of participating in YEP.
This film was created as a part of the “Podcasting & Digital Storytelling” workshop. Podcasting & Digital Storytelling is designed for teachers and school professionals who work with 6th – 12th grade Alaska Native and Newcomer (immigrant and refugee) students, and participating educators will receive support in engaging students in podcasting and digital storytelling as culturally responsive teaching tools.
