Empowering Voices: Introducing Our Afterschool Educators for Digital Storytelling Across Alaska
Alaskan Teachers Empowering Through Storytelling
Through the DEED Afterschool Competitive Grant, See Stories is honored to offer teachers throughout Alaska the chance to lead afterschool workshops in podcasting and digital storytelling. This opportunity aims to foster creativity, cultural understanding, and communication skills among students, using accessible technology that already exists in schools and communities. These afterschool programs led by educators are designed to empower students to document, create, and share their stories through podcasting and digital storytelling. We are excited to introduce our dynamic team of educators that will be teaching digital storytelling in their respective schools and communities for the 2023-2024 school year! Meet our new Afterschool educators below, facilitated by See Stories Staff, Seth Bader, our Education Programs Manager, and collaborator, Rafael Bitanga of Bitanga Productions.
