Ties that Bind
This film was made by Blaine Paje and Zeb Mike in Stebbins, Alaska. The film explores the topic on the indigenous people of Alaska and the Philippines and why it is significant in our community. The film includes interviews with both of the students recalling their childhood experiences and how their grandparents shaped their lives as to who they are now. The film also showcases the unique dances, rhythm, chants, costumes, and the ways of life of both indigenous people of Alaska and of the Philippines.
