Shagagwei

This film was made by James Reddick in Skagway, Alaska. The film explores the theme/topic of Skagway’s Geography and why it is significant in our community. The film includes interviews with students and teachers at Skagway School sharing stories, history, culture, and perspectives about Skagway’s land, water, and people.

This film took second place in our See Stories Film Festival (Winter 2024). Participating in a workshop taught by Danielle McManus, with generous funding from the Department of Education.
