See Stories AHA | Bitanga Productions
In this film produced by Bitanga Production, educators from across Alaska gather in Homer for a week-long intensive course to learn how to create culturally-responsive films. Watch as they immerse themselves in local history, engage within a community, and develop the skills to bring these transformative storytelling techniques to their classrooms, empowering students to share their unique stories.
This intensive retreat is a part of our Professional Development course “Digital Storytelling as a Culturally Responsive Teaching Tool” generously funded by the US Department of Education American History and Civics – National Activities Grants.
